                            ORDINANCE NO.    9861   
                  
                  
                   AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING A PORTION OF A CITY
                   OF CHATTANOOGA RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG THE NORTH
                   AND WEST SIDES OF THE EMERSON BUILDING,
                   ADJACENT TO 10TH STREET AND GEORGIA AVENUE,
                   AS MORE FULLY DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
       CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby
       abandoned a portion of a City of Chattanooga right-of-way along
       the north and west sides of the Emerson Building, adjacent to 
10th
       Street and Georgia Avenue, more particularly described as shown 
on
       a plat attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
       	    	 SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance
       shall be effective two (2) weeks from and after its passage as
       provided by law.
